It's Been Years.....For Real!

As I look at this good intention I started over 2 and a half years ago.  I giggle a little.   I have had other blogs since this one and unfortunately lost everything on them.  Life has been quite an adventure over the past few years and it really has only began for our family.

I am yet again with good intentions going to try to sum up in a few post what the last fews years have been like for our family and continue to share our adventures.  As I do this I have to prepare myself for the emotional roller coaster I will be going on.  I will have to deal with happiness and heartache all at the same time.

The reasoning behind continuing...

1.  I want to do this for my children.  I want them to be able to look back years from now and see where they have come from, to be able to revisit old memories, and to be amazed by what God has done in our lives.

2.  I want to do this for Thomas and I.  I want to look back years from now and be thankful for the life God has given us.

3.  I want to do this to encourage others.  I want to show that no matter the obstacles in life, the craziness that happens on a daily basis, or the life changing moments that God is Good All the Time!

Finally, I want to bring Glory to my Lord, Father, & Savior!  In the short life that I have lived so far...I see God AAALLLL over it!  I am proof that he is a beautifully grace filled God whom loves unconditionally and Judges us justly!

Let's do this!

This is the current us.

Peace, Love, Relay

What a night! We have worked so hard over the last year for the highlight of one night! We were on a new team this year Girls/Guys Gone Relay and loved it! We got to spend time with friends while still raising money for a great cause! In 2009 we where lucky enough to be #1 in the nation for our population brackett. Maybe we will see the same feat this year! Our team raised over $4290 alone, county wide we raised over $297,000. Way to go Polk County!

Here are some of the Girls Gone Relay
Thomas, Caden, & Cameron, my caregivers, as we walked for my survivor lap!

Tasha and I going back in time!

Lions, Tigers, and Bears.......At the Zoo

There were lions, tigers, and bears and at times it felt like a circus! But that was not the case. We were only on a field trip with the preschool classes from Mother's Day Out. We headed out with our lunches packed to enjoy a day with our friends! Following are the pictures from our full day!
Cameron and his bus buddy Vance!

Momma and her boys after our lunch!
Ryland, Cameron, and Caden riding in the back of the train!
My boys enjoying the train ride!
A group of friends checking out the animals!

We had a blast and both boys were asleep within 10 minutes of getting in the truck!

Coon in the Cabinet....

Caden: "Mommy there's a cat out there!"

Mom: "Where?"

Caden: points to the sunroom

Cameron" NO, it's a RACCOON!"

As I walked to the back door and looked in our storage cabinet, there sat Mr. Racoon. In the time he was in the cabinet he managed to destroy two boxes of of hot Chocolate and a box of blow pops!(this is our Sam's storage cabient) We left the door open and he went back out into the wild leaving me the mess behind!

WARNING:

THE PICTURE BELOW IS NOT CUTE
THE POOR GUY WAS SO SCARED!

Here We Are.....

Well, here it it folks. Our family blog. I never thought I would ever do this and I am not sure how good it is going to turn out but here it goes.

From the Beginning...

Thomas and I met in 2001, while we were both still in High School. He was graduating that year and I was a Sophmore. We made it through alot of heartache and growing up together. We said "I do" on Sept. 4, 2004; Thomas was in school to become a Utility Lineman and I was waiting tables.

After a month of marriage, we found out we were expecting our first child, then on June 11, 2005 we brought the amazing 6lb 1oz Cameron Dale into the world.

We lived in a small two bed room home that was getting smaller as Cameron was getting bigger. We found a home in November of 2006 that was forclosed and needed alot of work but God opened door after door and the home was ment to be ours!

The day before we signed papers on the house, we found out that we were expecting another child. God knew we needed the room! The second pregnancy was definatley a trial. It was a very rough time, I was in and out of the hospital cause the baby didn't want to stay in! The final two months that I was in the hospital and after multiple blood tranfusions we couldn't hold it off any longer! On June 21, 2007, Caden Thomas made his entrance in to the world at only 4lbs 1oz, he was almost seven weeks early.

He was in the hospiltal for a little while but was released in good health. At the age of six months we noticed that he was not progressing as well as he sould be. After many trips to Texas Childrens Hospital in Houston we found that he had pressure on his brain due to the steroids given while I was pregnant and his soft spots had closed. We were able to fix the problem, but he did have to wear a star band helment for almost a year.

Cameron was an amazing big brother! He helped mommy with everything and was very patient with the time that I had to give to Caden and the many long trips to Houston. Caden is now almost as big as Cameron and doing Great!

We have had amazing life experiences and God has blessed us with more than we could ever imagine. So here we are sharing the rest of our stories with you....
